March in Montreal

Well it has been a little while since we posted, but here goes! We love Montreal, all the missionaries, the people, the view from our apartment, the changeable weather and so many other things!

Shortly after our arrival, we parked at the church and walked across the freeway to the Metro (subway) to go downtown and get our metro cards. The other senior couple in our building were our guides. Elder and Sister Andersen from Pocatello, ID.
We will post more later, perhaps sooner than 8 months!

We are assigned to work with a branch for Mandarin Chinese members, they are amazing and we are learning lots from them. We are the third couple to serve with them, the third couple from Arizona to be precise! First were Elder and Sister King from Peoria, then Elder and Sister Peck from Peoria and now the Hawkers from Chandler/Glendale!

Brrrrrr! It looks mighty chilly there. How are you surviving it after being desert dwellers for so long?
